Strange like me, a comic encourages us to take pride in our differences

What to do when you feel like you just don't fit in? Sometime we all feel outside the what we call normality. It is not a wonder to end up in a strange loneliness. Did you ever feel like an outsider, like you don’t belong anywhere or that you just don’t fit in? The man behind webcomic Zen Pencils, Melbourne-based freelance cartoonist Gavin Aung Than, returns with a lovely illustration featuring the late Mexican painter Frida Kahlo

Reading autobiographies of some of the most famous people in the world, we find that they all say the same thing, “I felt like an outsider.” Whether it's scientists, politicians, athletes, artists, or just anyone who has made a difference in the world, you'll usually find that they felt like they didn't belong at some point in time. People like: Sarah Michelle GellarSir Anthony HopkinsAnne Rice, and Maria Shriver are just a few. Even Tom Cruise (plus you'll find 49 other famous celebrities on this page who were bullied including royalty Kate Middleton) was bullied as a child because he had dyslexia and felt he didn’t fit in because of it.

The comic is about a young girl who feels different from anybody. Tired of being made fun of at school, the young went to ask help from her mother. the end result of the story is beautiful that shows how we can take control of our mind and emotions. we are all beautiful just the way we are.
