U.S. astronaut Buzz Aldrin has stated in his Twitter account a photograph, that would be the first space 'selfie' ever, reports 'The Mirror'. 

In 1966 Aldrin took part in the expedition to the moon and that's when he took a self-portrait, thinking that after 50 years these images would be very fashionable. 

"Did you know I did the first space 'selfie' in the world?" - says the message published by the astronaut himself, to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the first lunar landing.
