A Walk through the Islamic City

A Syrian woman secretly recorded a video to show what life is like in Raqqa, a town in the north of the country, after being occupied by the militias of the Islamic State almost 18 months ago.

Filmed in February and April, the video shows how men and women carry guns in their daily lives while wander through crowded streets. The video shows a woman with a veil and a AK-47 on his shoulders leading a child by the hand. The two enter into a playground.

At one point in the recording, a man stopped her car to bring attention to the author of the video that she did not well covered her face with the veil.

The video, which was released in France 2 chain this week, also shows some French women talking to relatives in France from a cybercafe. They Insist they are happy and have no intention of returning, despite the pleas of their family, reports 'The Telegraph'.

According to chain gala television, many women have gone to Syria to support their husbands and others to marry. France 2 reported that about 150 French women currently living in Syria with the militants of the Islamic State.
