The terrorist group IS (Islamic State) has opened its first consulate in the Turkish capital, Ankara, and began issuing visas to those who want to join the jihadist struggle in Iraq, according to Turkish media.
According to one of the oldest and most respected newspapers in Turkey 'Aydinikdaily', the government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan has provided such "amenities" to the terrorist organization following the negotiations in order to secure the return of 49 Turkish diplomats who were kidnapped in the consulate of the city of Mosul, in northern Iraq, by members of the Islamic State.
The representative of the foreign relations of the jihadist group, Ab-Omar Al-Tunisi, meanwhile, has declared that Turkey was chosen for the installation of its first consulate because it is a "friendly country and Muslim."
The website, which the press belongs to the controversial Turkish Consulate, indicates that all followers of the cause of the organization can submit a visa application to the organisation's email or attend in person at their office located in the Çankaya district of Ankara.
The page notes that victims struggle for global jihad deserve free treatment, no matter where in the world they are.
